35th series (Long) Toyo Kogyo
Early 35th series TK Long (1):
Here is an example of a fairly early Type 99 Long rifle from Toyo Kogyo. Please note the following features:
-These TK Long 99's like this tend to have a very deep, almost commercial quality bluing to them
-Many of the small spring parts (bolt release spring, rear sight adjuster springs, monopod spring, trigger) are "straw" colored, as seen on many Type 38's
-Rifle is matched by an "assembly" number found under that barrel, rather than matching to the serial number itself
-Type 99 longs were originally made with: Monopod, dust cover (missing on this example), long cleaning rod, AA sights
-This rifle's stock has both Kokura and Toyo Kogyo proofs on the bottom of the butt stock
-Bolt face has a small amount of chrome plating, and barrel is chrome lined
-The bayonet lug assembly number is located on the back of the lug, rather than the bottom of the lug as is commonly seen on the short Type 99's
-Monopods are slightly longer than the short rifle monpods, and also use a different style of spring to hold them in place

(Please note the stock is also likely numbered on this example, but the rifle screws are still staked so I could not disassemble. Dust covers also would have been numbered)

Early 35th series TK Long (2):
Here is another example of an early Toyo Kogyo Type 99 Long. The major difference on this one is that the assembly number is 4 digits. While very uncommon, there are a small number of TK Long rifles noted with a 4 digit assembly like this.
